BJ Gibbons is a superb attorney. She is extremely knowledgeable, has extensive experience, takes a comprehensive view of legal situations, and has a genuine concern for her clients. She has worked with our family on complex real-estate and estate-planning issues, with superlative results. Her initial work involved a property split that two other real-estate attorneys declined to work on because it was so complicated. Her comprehensive approach ensured that all issues, including future potential problems, were resolved. She took a similar thoughtful, in-depth approach to estate-planning, raising issues that had not occurred to us, and thinking creatively - inside and outside the box - to help us work through them. Her excellent communication skills enable her to explain legal terms and issues very clearly and concisely. Furthermore, she is kind and compassionate, and her empathy for clients is a hallmark of her work. BJ Gibbons is the type of attorney clients dream of working with. BJ was uniquely qualified to help an senior friend of mine sell their Arizona condo. The level of expertise, both from a real estate perspective and a legal perspective, was outstanding. BJ was very understanding with my friend's limited budget and worked with them to do things such as properly furnish the home to allow it to show better. Chose BJ since she was a realtor and practiced law. I needed a confidant during a stressful time in my life. She was trustworthy and tenacious. Exactly what I needed to sell my home during a slow housing market. She also helped me find a rental immediately after the sell of my home. It’s like who does that?  Well we’re extremely impressed with how she runs her firm, her attention to the smallest detail and truly pleasant demeanor. We first contacted Ms Gibbons (BJ, as she asked us to call her) when we started looking into a home purchase in Oro Valley (we live full time on the east coast) and required an Arizona lawyer to help review details and facilitate the transaction (the sellers wanted to avoid real estate broker fees).  BJ responded quickly to our initial inquiry and proved to be personable and extremely qualified as she guided us through the things we needed to consider.  We met several times in person to work things out, and she was invaluable in helping us investigate the advantages and disadvantages of this particular home.  She also communicated frequently and clearly through email and texts to make sure we had the information we needed.  Her extensive knowledge and experience in real estate, both as an attorney and a realtor, really helped as aspects of the home and its value became clear, leading us eventually to wisely change directions to look at other homes.  BJ then put on her Realtor's hat to help us find and eventually purchase a home in OV that perfectly fit our needs.  She walked us through multiple steps, had a great relationship with a Mortgage Broker who proved equally skilled, and was congenial and professional throughout the process.  We are now the very happy owners of a house near our grandchildren in a wonderful neighborhood and we owe a great deal of the success of this purchase to BJ and the team she put together. This was my partner and I’s first home purchase. BJ made us feel so confident and assured in our decision. Every step of the way, she was available to answer questions, give advice, and provided us with so much useful information. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (and still not enough) There is no star rating that could ever fully express what BJ Gibbons has meant to me. I first found BJ through a Google review—ironically the very thing I’m writing now—and from November 2024 through September 2025, she was my legal counsel during an incredibly frightening and emotional family matter involving a con artist of a stepfather. I was scared, overwhelmed, and trying to do the right thing while protecting myself and my family. BJ brought calm to chaos. She was knowledgeable, fierce, compassionate, and unwavering, and she consistently reassured me that I was standing on the right side of the law and the right side of truth. She didn’t just know the law—she believed in what was right. She laid out facts clearly, gave me courage when I was doubting myself, and stood firmly beside me through a situation that felt overwhelming from start to finish. When the time came to sell my Arizona property, BJ transitioned from my attorney to my real estate agent, and that is when an entirely new challenge arose. Because of protective legal actions I had taken earlier (that she advised against), a cloud on the title caused multiple title companies to walk away from the transaction entirely. Deals fell apart. Doors slammed shut. It felt impossible. Once again, BJ never gave up. She pursued every possible avenue, used every resource available, and ultimately went to great lengths to speak directly the great people of Pioneer Title Agency of Tucson, AZ, who truly reviewed the facts of the case and made it possible for my transaction to close. That persistence, paired with her deep understanding of my legal history, made all the difference. What stands out most is how present she was. BJ answered calls, emails, and texts during moments of pure fear and discouragement—while making Thanksgiving dinner for her family, while spending time with her children, while on the beaches of California with her son, and even while traveling in Italy to surprise her daughter for her 16th birthday. Somehow, she made me feel like I was her only client. When BJ called me to tell me it was finally over—that everything had closed—I fell to my knees. I don’t think I’ve ever had someone in my corner to this extent who didn’t give birth to me. If you are searching for someone who will stand for what is right, who backs everything with facts, who knows the law inside and out, and who will fiercely protect your best interests—it’s BJ Gibbons.
